After calling someone, being let in and getting into our room, we were pretty disappointed. We didn’t expect the Ritz or anything, but there were some issues that had me thinking...we should just leave and cut our losses. Though there was a thermostat and register, there was no AC, which we did not realize. The toilet paper holder was held on by duct tape…yes, duct tape. The inside of the bathroom door by the toilet had brown spot on it, which I can only assume is……well you know. Yuck! There is a “couch” covered by what looked like a dirty furniture cover. But, the sheets looked clean and in the end, we were tired from driving and exploring, and decided to just sleep and leave. There was a fridge and microwave. We left at 830am and the front door was still locked. Wish I'd thought to take a picture but we were too stunned. I thought I had played it safe ordering fried potatoes and eggs. Not so. The eggs were burnt to crispy rubber on the bottom and the fried potatoes dripping with oil. We had already had several communication issues with our server and agreed that we wouldn't know where to start in trying to protest our meals. So I avoided the dinner rush crowd and was pleasantly greeted and served with excellent, polite and attentive service again I was the only customer so admittedly it was easy....I ordered the Butter Chicken with rice and naan bread. It came quickly and the food was some of the best Indian food that I have had. If I was staying longer I would easily come back here again. The taste felt like something out of a jar and too salty and too oily. The naan bread was inferior quality also. Others in my party tried the Gyros platter, that tasted like like no Gyros, was very spicy and came without pita, rice or potatoes. The tzatziki sauce had weird acid taste. The wienerschnitzel had the breading falling off it and very oily. The menu says it comes with potato salad, but it was served with veggies and potatoes, also greasy.
